Three sizes, all outdoors

Every space is marked, fenced in and behind the gate.

10×20Standard. Car, SUV, small truck, or a short trailer up to 20 ft.
10×30Large. Boat, RV, camper, or a truck and trailer combo up to 30 ft.
10×40Extra large. Motorhome, large RV, commercial vehicle, or a long trailer.

Measure bumper to hitch, then add 2 to 3 feet for room to maneuver. Between sizes? Go one size up. It is easier to pull into a bigger space.

Can you park it at home?

Maybe. The line is 24 feet.

Lawton measures your rig from the front-most point to the rear-most, tongue and bike rack included. Over 24 feet long, 8½ feet wide or 11 feet tall, an RV can sit in a front driveway only 5 days in any 10-day period. Behind a solid fence at least 5 feet tall in a side or rear yard, any size is allowed.

Before you park it

Prep it once, sleep well all winter

  • Tires. Inflate to spec, add UV covers, and chock the wheels rather than relying on the parking brake for months.
  • Battery. Charge it, then disconnect it or set storage mode. There is no shore power at the spaces, so a smart tender helps on visits.
  • Water. Drain and winterize the fresh tank, water heater and lines, and empty and rinse the holding tanks.
  • Fuel. Add stabilizer and run the engine and generator so it circulates.
  • Roof and seals. Check the roof seams, sealant and vent covers, and the window and slide seals.
  • Pests. Seal gaps where mice can get in, take out food, and add moisture absorbers.
  • Monthly. Start the engine, check the tires, and look for leaks or pests.

Straight answers about RV storage

What size RV can you fit?
Up to about 37 feet with room to pull in and out, in a 10×40 space (40 ft long). Measure bumper to bumper and include the tongue on a trailer, then add 2 to 3 feet. If you are between sizes, go one up. Longer than that? Call or text (580) 265-5708 and we will tell you honestly.
Can you fit a Class A motorhome?
Many, yes. Class A coaches commonly run from about 30 to 45 feet. If yours is 37 feet or under, a 10×40 space gives you room to pull in. Over that, or wider than 8½ feet with the mirrors out, text us your make and model and we will confirm before you reserve.
Is RV parking covered?
No. Parking is outdoors and not enclosed. Sun is hardest on the roof and tires, so a fitted RV cover and UV tire covers are worth it.
Is there power at the spaces?
No. Spaces do not come with power hookups. Take the house battery home, put the coach in storage mode, or use a smart battery tender on your visits.
Can I run the engine or generator in my space?
Yes, most owners start the engine now and then to keep the battery and seals healthy. Just do not leave it running while you are not there.
How should I prep my RV for storage?
Drain and winterize the water system, add fuel stabilizer and run the engine, charge then disconnect the house battery, cover roof vents and check the seals, seal gaps mice can use, and inflate the tires to spec. Plan a quick walk-around once a month. The checklist above has the details.
What are the gate hours?

Will my rate go up after I move in?
No. Your rate is written into your rental agreement and locked for 24 months from your move-in date. AutoPay and an account in good standing are required to keep the lock. If a payment fails or the account goes past due, the locked rate becomes subject to change under the terms of your rental agreement.
Can I move in the same day?
Yes. Reserve online, upload your driver’s license, sign your lease on your phone, and set up AutoPay. Your personal gate code is texted to you, usually within a minute.
